Just like last week we are now promoting courses in the different buildings at LTH during lunchtime. If you want to join us, or if you have some questions about BEST or how to apply to BEST courses - find us and we will gladly answer your questions. We have already visited Kemicentrum and E-huset, so today you will be able to find us in V-huset and on Friday we will be in  in M-huset.

And don't forget to apply for the courses! You have 50 different events to choose between this summer, and since the only expences for you is the ticket to go there and maximum 30 € (around 350 kr), you have no reason to hesitate. Right?

On our homepage we have gathered some good hints when you are writing your motivation letter, because a good motivation letter increases your chance of getting accepted enormously!

Perhaps you have seen some BEST posters up at LTH during the last weeks, and perhaps you have seen some small leaflets spread over tables and benches in the different buildings.. you see, right now is the time to apply for BEST summer courses!

This week we are therefore trying to promote the courses in the buildings at LTH by handing out leaflets and talking about BEST courses. You might find us there somewhere!

Every Thursday we gather at Kårhuset (the Student Union house) for a weekly meeting, and despite the fact that it is exam week at LTH, around 10 BESTies showed up.

Today we talked about our budget, and decided how much we can spend on the Cultural Exchange we are going to have in April/May. We also decided who will be our GA-delegates this year (Patrik and Mia) and elected Ludvig as CE-responsible.

After the meeting we tried to have a small workshop and divided ourselves in two teams, where one sat down by the computers and wrote on an sponsor-application for the summer course and the other team continued the sewing that we started the last week.

The sewing project

The idea of the sewing project is to promote the summer courses to LTH students. The project is to prepare a black blanket with white text and put the blanket on ön Ön (the island Island) in sjön Sjön (the lake Lake). The difficulties however is that the letters are sooo many, that there's only one sewing machine and that there's no motivation to do it, because it is probably just a waste of time. And then we haven't even mentioned the question about:

- how we will manage to convince someone to swim to the island and put it there! :P

I guess we will see how it goes!
